Custom Movesets[edit]
The list of custom move combinations have been released. Should we put this here? http://smashboards.com/threads/official-custom-moveset-project-summer-2015-edition-evo-sets.395721/ 216.130.144.24 14:45, 26 March 2015 (EDT)
Ruleset & Side Tournaments[edit]
I really think someone should include a rulesetsection for both Melee and Smash 4. I don't think I'm the most qualified for this but I think it'll be important along the way, specially if some time from now Customs are completely dropped from Smash 4's competitive play.
Also, does anyone knows if there's any significant side tournament being organized? Project M, Melee/Sm4sh doubles, anything? PFFP (talk) 21:11, 1 July 2015 (EDT)
ZeRo considered himself as American.[edit]
[1]. Either that or actually ask him if he has signed up for US citizenship (if he did then that's automatically American). Dots (talk) The Computer 20:56, 19 July 2015 (EDT)
- After this tweet, I'm a bit more conflicted on the situation. I might try asking him later. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 22:41, 19 July 2015 (EDT)
- EVERYTIME I SEE THIS I RAGE. Ok, I came here to talk about something else, but now that I saw this ZeRo Chile/USA discussion I NEED to talk. WHY ARE WE ARGUING ABOUT THIS?. If a soccer player, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, one day signs with Barcelona and goes to play in Spain, for the bulk of his careeer, should he be listed as Spanish? Should he play for Spain on the World Cup? The answer is simple: NO.
- I don't care what ZeRo considers himself, the FACT is that he's Chilean. Until he's naturalized and officially becomes a US citizen, he should be listed as Chilian. This wiki is reporting a FACT, not something that we or he thinks is appropriate. If Armada moves to the US are we gonna have this same problem? That doesn't make any sense!!
- I never undid any flag changes, or got into this conversation before because I'm new here, but honestly, it surprises me people are having doubts about this...PFFP (talk) 17:37, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
- The reason this is a discussion to begin with is because ZeRo has specifically stated that he moved to the US. Whether or not he was naturalized or not, I'm not sure, and I'm sure you don't know for sure, either. If he wasn't, then I agree that the flag should be changed back to the Chilean flag. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 17:42, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
- He would have said if he had, and until we have clear confirmation he should be listed as Chilean.PFFP (talk) 18:03, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
- It could have also been assumed that he went through the process as well without needing to mention that. It's not a black and white thing like you're making it out to be.
- In any case, I'll be asking ZeRo to make sure, so I'd prefer not changing anything yet until then. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 18:07, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
- CONFIRMATION: ZeRo is "a Chilean that visits the US", so the flags should be changed to the Chilean flag. My apologies for the misunderstanding. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 18:10, 22 July 2015 (EDT)

Sm4sh to 49th?[edit]
The Melee results go to 49th; will we do the same for Smash 4 once the brackets are updated? Kenniky 18:02, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
- I honestly think we should never list past top 32, but there's seems to be no written rule about this and every tournament page lists differently, for small tournaments.PFFP (talk) 18:19, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
Messy introductory paragraph[edit]
I'd like to speak in favor of cleaning this page's introductory paragraph, to follow a better event page standard. I'm talking about the 4th and 5th paragraph actually, specially the 4th. Simply put, it's a mess. A giant block of text with no valuable and/or essential information. Most of what's written there is a description of what the results section shows, with informal and biased wording that can (and needs) to be reworked.
I won't change anything right away, since I think this needs to be discussed first, but I needed to talk about it. Most of the content written there can be cut and the giant text wall defeats the purpose of a Wikipedia standard introductory paragraph: to be simple and present the basic/essentials of the event. The content there could be worked on the trivia section and/or better fleshed out on its own section, "Battle log notations" or "notable tournament moments".
I want to rework the page to better fit the info, as an example of what I have in mind, but for that I need consensus on those two paragraphs. I think they're horrendous and need to go. PFFP (talk) 19:31, 23 July 2015 (EDT)
- They're totally unneeded for the introduction section, so I'd say go ahead. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 19:33, 23 July 2015 (EDT)
Dashes[edit]
What's up with the dashes in the earnings field of those who didn't make money in Melee/Smash 4 singles? I've never seen that done on any other tournament page, it's just usually left blank. They're not even the long dashes that get used in cases where we do use dashes. Did somebody just randomly add them and everyone's been to lazy to remove them? Bazkip (talk) 15:45, 29 July 2015 (EDT)
Dabuz using Olimar[edit]
So, regarding the guy who keeps updating Dabuz's character usage to include Olimar. I understand the policy to only include characters that won something, but hoestly tho? That's kinda lame. He used the character, he thought that was a valid counter but it didn't work. Imagine if the SRK rankings kept Infiltration's characters out of his list just case he didn't won anything with them. That still doesn't erase the fact that he used the character at the tournament. I say keep it, but that's just me. PFFP (talk) 18:12, 30 July 2015 (EDT)
- To clear things up: I'm not the one changing characters. I rather discuss things first. PFFP (talk) 20:03, 30 July 2015 (EDT)
Results?[edit]
Where is the full results or at least top 64? I need it for another page. -- Ethan(Discussion) 13:33, 23 February 2016 (EST)
