The New England Smash Invitational, or NESI, was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate invitational tournament that took place on July 30th, 2023. It exclusively featured top players from New England and was held in Enfield, Connecticut.

Players invited/qualified[edit]

Players living in the US states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont were eligible to qualify. Players could qualify one of 3 ways:

*Ling and Light were invited but were unable to attend. Ling's spot went to Shard, and Light's spot went to adding an additional vote-in (5 to 6).

Players eliminated[edit]

The voting consisted of a free nomination phase, held from April 24th-30th, and a paid voting phase, held from July 3rd-17th. The top two vote-getters from each state in the nomination phase would move onto the voting phase, for twelve total players.
