Kamisuma 25 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate regional tournament held in Hyogo, Japan on August 18th, 2024.
Tournament summary[edit]
The tournament was won by 33Peranbox, the 4th seed. After being upset by Yadon (12th seed), 33Peranbox would proceed to win 7 sets in losers. To qualify for the losers side of top 8, 33Peranbox beat the 1st seed of the event, Jogibu. In top 8, he would beat CLAW (17th seed), Kyon (7th seed), Noluck (24th seed), Raki (3rd seed) and would double eliminate Yadon in grand finals.
The tournament as a whole would feature a number of surprising runs and significantly upsets.
Yadon, places 2nd after upsetting Lapi (5th seed), 33Peranbox, and Raki. Noluck finished 4th after defeating Natsumegu (9th seed), MTK (8th seed), CLAW, and Mark (6th seed).
Some of the other notable upsets included CLAW defeating Jogibu and Lapi, Haruuun (31st seed) over Crete (2nd seed), Boarden (15th seed) defeating Crete, Hoyo (22nd seed) beating Mark and DieGorou (11th seed), and Piro (28th seed) taking it over MTK.
