The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Thumbs up![edit]
Good work, we needed one of these. *cookie* --RJM Talk 22:38, August 19, 2007 (EDT)
Change made[edit]
I made it default to white, as it's usage was primarily on main-space pages. Only 3 articles outside of the mainspace are currently using this template, all of which are user or user talk related. This was to clear up several templates in Special:Uncategorizedtemplates and Special:Unusedtemplates. For the future, it would be nice if server side we could get $wgAllowDisplayTitle set to true, to allow true "wrong naming". --Sky (t | c | w). 04:46, February 3, 2008 (EST)
- I agree, but I'm not sure who holds the cards when it comes to actually adjusting server-side files. All I know is that it's higher than a SysOp level and probably requires a Smash World veteran staff member. --RJM Talk 11:16, February 3, 2008 (EST)
So, uh...what the hell did you do to our title template?[edit]
Hey Wikia! This doesn't work! What happened? We had a perfectly functional wrong title template in the history of Template:Title which was lost in the merge. Fix it, if you would be so kind. --RJM Talk 19:38, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Fixed, but I see that some articles do not pass a parameter for what is the correct name, for example, Smasher:Nealdt, but on pages that do pass a parameter, for example, Smasher:JOsz, these work fine. Logan · (Talk · Contributions) 19:57, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- What parameter is being passed by jOsz that isn't passed by nealdt? I don't quite understand what you mean. --RJM Talk 13:03, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- The correct way to use it is {{title|<correct name here>}}, but on Nealdt's page, he is using it incorrectly as just {{title}}. Logan · (Talk · Contributions) 02:07, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
