The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Project M[edit]
My addition of Project M mode was reverted as “omitted deliberately”. What is the reasoning behind this omission? —Fenhl 05:11, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
- So should Project M news not be added to {{News}}? Or should they be added, and the icon omitted? We do currently have a Project M-related news item on there. —Fenhl 05:32, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
- Project M is currently barely allowed. If you are asking what the current system has been, it would be to include the icon manually but exclude it from this template. If you are asking what I think personally, I think we should be endeavoring to avoid and remove Project M content wherever possible; the current implementation of Project M content was done in what I consider poor judgment. - Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. —Fenhl 05:37, 24 July 2015 (EDT)
Add the Project M Icon[edit]
The PM icon was deliberately removed and isn't allowed according to the old discussion above. The reason being to "discourage it's use" and because PM was poorly implemented. I honestly think it should be added as PM is in a better situation on the wiki now. Not having it here only makes adding an actual PM icon to articles and templates more time consuming and difficult for newer users. Pokebub (talk) 19:34, 28 January 2018 (EST)
