Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Ummmmmmm..... What about glide attacks? Do they not count because only three characters have them? Maxiscool (talk) 17:31, 14 July 2008 (UTC) I wouldn't count anything that situational. This includes get-up attacks and ledge attacks. The latter two are not really viable means of offense or KO. - Gargomon251 (talk) 23:33, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

What about grab? That doesn't even do damage. Are they talking about pummel? Maxiscool (talk) 23:52, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Other Attacks[edit]

I think we should make a section (or page or something) called "other attacks" and a page on get-up attacks, pummles, and Link and Samus' air hookshot/grapple thing. Maxiscool (talk) 22:00, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I think we chould change the names of the special attacks to match brawl's setup, calling the Neutral SPecial, Up Special, etc. or drop the special part so its just neitral, down, up, and forward since the part of the template its in already says special attacks<><><>Smorekingxg456 (talk) 22:54, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Standardization[edit]

  • "tilt" or "strong"?
  • "forward" or "side"? Miles (talk) 20:44, 5 November 2010 (EDT)
"Tilt" is far more commonly used. I think "forward" is as well for smashes, aerials, and throws, but "side special" is a lot more common than "forward special". Of course, "strong" and "side" are the official terms. Toomai Glittershine Data Node 20:48, 5 November 2010 (EDT)
