Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

This template is used in conjunction with the {{Infobox Game}} infobox to summarize ratings information for video game articles.

Syntax

Using named parameters

The following parameters may be specified to display ratings for multiple regions in a single call (however, they will not be sorted in any particular order):

BBFC=rating
British Board of Film Classification rating.
CERO=rating
Computer Entertainment Rating Organization rating.
ELSPA=rating
Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association rating.
ESRB=rating
Entertainment Software Rating Board rating.
OFLCA=rating
Office of Film and Literature Classification (Australia) rating.
OFLCZ=rating
Office of Film and Literature Classification (New Zealand) rating. (If different from OFLCA)
PEGI=rating
Pan European Game Information rating.
USK=rating
Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle rating.

If it is desirable to list ratings in a specific order (e.g. chronological), specify each rating with a separate call.

Alternate syntax

Using two parameters {{vgratings | [[system]] | rating }}

system
Wikilinked system/organization name. For brevity, should be formatted as a piped link, e.g. [[Entertainment Software Rating Board|ESRB]]'.
rating
system/organization rating

Using three parameters (for backwards compatibility) {{vgratings | system | ID | rating }}

system | ID
Name and abbreviation for the rating system/organization (ESRB, CERO, PEGI, etc.) to which the rating applies. This is essentially the same format as a piped link, minus the surrounding brackets.
