Top Shelf Esports, based in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California, is an American Esports organization and team dedicated to organizing, streaming, and running Super Smash Bros. events.
Top Shelf hosts, streams, and manages events for the Smash community in several parts of Southern California and Northern California.
The organization played a key role in keeping the SoCal Melee scene alive during critical times with weeklies, biweeklies, monthlies and special events.
Tournament Series[edit]
Melee[edit]
- Friday Night Turnip: Bi-weekly Melee tournament series with a $50 pot bonus every tournament. It is held at Schoonerville Sports Bar & Grill in Canoga Park, California. First of it's kind it is an event that is primarily Smash but open to friends and casuals alike with its bar setting and side-bracket of beer pong.
- Fight For SoCal: Monthly tournament series for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. that frequently invites, flies out, and features top players from various regions outside of Southern California. Additionally, it features many of the best players in the SoCal region. It is held at Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California.
- Saving Mr. Lombardi: One day regional event located in UC Irvine, in collaboration with EndGameTV and Melee at UCI. The event featured doubles, singles and exhibition matches including the headline Fiction VS Ginger.
Ultimate[edit]
- Piranha Plant Grill: A two tournament series, monthly, modeled around the Piranha Plant character. The tournaments had several different brackets including singles, doubles, a special Piranha Plant bracket and more. The tournaments were held at Schoonerville Sports Bar & Grill.
- Monday Smash Meet Zero (MSM Zero): A bi-weekly that takes place in SoCal, serving as a spiritual successor to 2GGaming's Mega Smash Mondays series.

- Gerry, founder of Top Shelf, was the organizer for Smash Summit 6.
- Top Shelf has had a hand in helping run some 2GGaming events, such as The Mango, 2GG: Hyrule Saga, The Mango Homecoming, Ultimate Nimbus and more.
- Ran secondary Melee stream for GENESIS 7 and Beyond the Summit.
