COGnitive Gaming (COG) was a professional esports organization based in California, United States. The team disbanded on December 31st, 2016.[1]
They entered the Smash scene by signing the Melee player Wizzrobe on October 20th, 2014. COGnitive later signed one of the five gods, Mew2King, on April 16th, 2015. Mew2King parted ways with COGnitive to join Echo Fox on May 16th, 2016. On December 12th, 2016, Wizzrobe, the final player on COGnitive roster, announced that he will not renew with the team for 2017,[2] which led to COGntiive's disband.

- From July to December 2017, Wizzrobe was sponsored by Fry's Electronics, one of the former partners of COGnitive Gaming. David Fry, the former owner of COGnitive is one of the founders of Fry's Electronics.
