Just to let you guys now, Waterfall didn't start in Generation 2. Waterfall started in Generation 1, and only Goldeen/Seaking could learn it at somewhere around their level fourty's.... Nobody would train them at that level cuz Goldeen was so unpopular. And hey, wouldn't you rather spend your time training a better pokemon that Goldeen to such a high level? Oh and here is a link to Waterfall's Bulbapedia entry. --Pokeflora (talk) 13:35, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- I quote: "Starting in Generation 2 Waterfall was an HM (Hidden Machine) that allowed a Pokémon to learn Waterfall, which when used outside of battle, allowed the player to go up waterfalls.". What that means is that Generation 2 was the first generation of Pokémon games that featured Waterfall as an HM move that could be used outside of battle to allow the player to go up waterfalls. It does not mean that Generation 2 was the first generation of Pokémon games to feature the move Waterfall. The article is correct, and the phrasing is good because Generation 2 was the first generation of Pokémon games in which Squirtle could learn Waterfall. PenguinofDeath 14:08, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
