The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Move Proposal[edit]
So Elon Musk has rebranding Twitter to X. A terrible name if you ask me, but that aside, this is happening, so we're gonna have to catch up. I've opened this Move Proposal up since there is some uncertainty on various bits and pieces (eg. X.com wasn't working properly for a bit and there's some questions about whether the logo is even right). I'd say once the link is all sorted, make the move? --Plague von Karma

- It wouldn't be the first time we moved a rebranded social website's article despite the rebrand being something dumb that no one liked and summarily was ignored when talking about the site (when AllisBrawl got rebranded as "Nintendo Dojo" in a horribly failed attempt to attract a general Nintendo audience). In this case though, I'll still say give this some time and see if this isn't all some prank or if Elon gets forced to backtrack on it, or if people so resoundingly refuse to stop calling it Twitter, that we still stick with the common name (as we did with even an official game title by using "Super Smash Bros. 4" instead of "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS"). - Agreed, at least one of those is very likely. --Meester Tweester (talk) 22:43, August 6, 2023 (EDT)
- It has been a while right and I believe X should at least be a redirect no matter what and whether people continue calling it Twitter or not.

- Wikipedia has settled its own discussion - Twitter is the name, and X is the redirect and what is referred to throughout, unless Twitter is relevant, on account of WP:COMMONNAME and WP:NATURAL. I personally support copying this. For now, I've made the proposed page a redirect, and we can discuss whether or not to employ Wikipedia's elegant solution from here on out. -

Keep as "Twitter" well, it's 2025 and everyone still calls it Twitter, so...Alex the Weeb 18:43, January 27, 2025 (EST)
