Talk:Turtling
Hello everyone! I just started this article and would like some help with it, like for example, the cleanup part, contributions, adding and some links (if needed). Thanks for reading and for any help if given. Smash On! --CyberDarkEdge 01:18, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
What is turtling?[edit]
I really don't understand this what technique is. I don't understand the name, and the explanation is very broad and not very well defined or explained. Zixor (talk) 02:06, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- Turtling is a form of defensive play designed to play on the opponent's mental weakness rather than his technical one. In some ways, it's actually the opposite of spamming because it's based on spacing precise single attacks rather than repeating what you know to be effective over and over again until it works. LemonLau is one of the better turtlers around, using very little technical ability and instead relying on baiting his opponent with frustrating short bursts of damage. It's not a lot of fun to play against players like this as the matches are usually very long and very slow with very little in the way of combos. --RJM Talk 01:30, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Camping=Turtling?[edit]
Shouldn't we merge this with Camping? They seems like pretty much the same thing. O_o? Or if it does involve these "mind games" (above section), shouldn't we merge with the Mindgames article? HavocReaper48 (talk) 01:11, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
