Capitalisation[edit]
I think that whenever possible, we should be calling this the nintendogs series, rather than the capitalised Nintendogs. I appreciate that the article titles can't be changed, and I'm still looking into how the "Nintendog" itself is called officially (I think it was capitalised on the Brawl DOJO), but the official product pages for the games and their logos have always abandoned capitalisation. This was reinforced on the Super Smash Bros. Blog today, which referred to the universe as nintendogs without a capital N, within the Smash universe. Can we agree to just use nintendogs whenever possible? Toast ltimatum 05:35, 30 October 2018 (EDT)
- Looking further into it, the nintendogs capitalisation came into effect for the sequels on Nintendo 3DS, while Nintendogs was accurate at the time of Brawl. I still think that labelling the universe by its more up-to-date capitalisation is better for the future, as the Living Room stage sets the precedent that nintendogs + cats is the most important game to the universe, but Nintendog itself should be fine to leave as-is, given that it was introduced in Brawl. As you may have noticed, I'm changing the deliberate references to the nintendogs + cats games across the wiki already, as it defers from SW:OFFICIAL, being the name of a game outside of the Smash universe.
