Best Meta Knight player?

I know this isn't particularly necessary, but who's the best MK in the world, now that Abadango has dropped the character for...11 months now? The two big contenders are BONK! and Yei, and a little clarification could be nice. Certainlyfour (talk) 21:01, November 16, 2020 (EST)

Should the Dark Meta Knight and Galacta Knight Alternate Costumes Be Considered Significant Alternate Costumes?

With Zero Suit Samus' casual outfits and Little Mac's hoodie costumes being displayed on their pages now, should the Dark Meta Knight and Galacta Knight alts be displayed in the images for this page since the mask changes? It's a pretty similar change to the Spiky-Eared Pichu alt with it being a small change to the character, but it's displayed anyways. Diddy Kongstar (talk) 00:14, November 21, 2021 (EST)

They're not actually Dark Meta Knight or Galacta Knight though, they're just Meta Knight in the corresponding colors with a minor change to the mask. Spiky-eared Pichu is more notable because it's supposed to be an actual specific character, not just a recolor based on one. Miles (talk) 00:35, November 21, 2021 (EST)

Leo has historically seen little success with Meta Knight in offline competitive play. His run at Umebura was certainly notable and he took some big names, but since then he hasn't done much with MK nor has he taken any other big names, with the character last being used in a losing effort against drybie. His best results MK took place at smaller events and against players not ranked that high, and as such I believe one tournament run does not justify historical notability. I think the issue was using square brackets as a second-level parentheses. In some cases it is a valid way to do that, but it is rarely done that way and is usually done with more parentheses. --CanvasK (talk) 16:44, January 21, 2025 (EST)
