Split?[edit]

I feel that, not only this page, but all SSB4 trophy pages, need to be split into 3DS trophies and Wii U trophies. The reason? Most pages are too long already, and are just going to get longer when we add in the Wii U trophies. This page alone is, currently, 62,848 bytes, which makes this page one of the largest pages on the wiki. When we add the Wii U trophies, that number will, most likely, about double in size; if that prediction holds true, this page could be about 126,806 bytes. Now that's a lot of bytes, but if we split the pages, it will be easier to keep track of the page. It will still be about 63,000 bytes, but that's better than 127,000 bytes. So, what are your thoughts on this? Should we split the SSB4 trophy pages or not? Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 21:09, 10 October 2014 (EDT)

I'm in favor of splitting this page and other long trophy pages like Pokémon when the Wii U version comes around, but not all of them. Some of them feel too small to justify a split - such as R.O.B. and Duck Hunt. Though that does raise the problem of inconsistency, so maybe we would end up splitting them all anyway. Either way, I agree that at the very least, this page should be split when the time comes. Mistiryshak (talk) 21:16, 10 October 2014 (EDT)
The R.O.B. and maybe Duck Hunt pages shouldn't be split, I will agree with that, and we'll worry about the consistency issue later, but all other trophy pages are too large and need to be split into 3DS & Wii U trophy pages. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 21:30, 10 October 2014 (EDT)

It'll depend on how many trophies are version-exclusive, to borrow the Pokemon term. I'm guessing that quite a few (not just Classic/All-Star ones) will overlap the two versions, and we may not have to split more than one or two pages. Even then, there's a reasonable argument that these pages are going to be pretty stable and not need much in the way of editing, meaning a large page size isn't necessarily a bad thing. Having some pages split but not others would be irregular and confusing. It's all or nothing. MBArceus (talk) 12:03, 11 October 2014 (EDT)
Fair enough, we can split those pages as well when the time comes. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 12:04, 11 October 2014 (EDT)

Since the Wii U version is out, it looks like the page will need a split. Size is now at 92k, and once all the images/descriptions are added, it will surpass 100k. Berrenta (talk) 15:00, 7 December 2014 (EST)

I agree with all trophy pages being split. Tepig (talk) 11:39, 9 December 2014 (EST)

So are we going to split these or what? Zm123bro (talk) 18:10, 31 December 2014 (EST)

Well, there is a problem with too big articles, but some are small and would be too small if you spit it, so you should only split the bigger ones if possible. UltraSmasher402 (talk) 23:17, 14 January 2015 (EST)

I think that there's only two options: do what we did with the Yoshi and R.O.B. trophy pages, or split all the pages. If it's a huge problem, then I agree that we should split the pages. Wazzup111 (talk) 20:41, 12 February 2015 (EST)

Golden Hammer Trophy?[edit]

I have the Golden Hammer trophy in the PAL version, and wish to carry on adding PAL descriptions, but cannot find where the Golden Hammer trophy is, help? TheDavsto (talk) 06:08, 11 October 2014 (EDT)

Rosalina & Luma Trophy Description Change[edit]

I noticed that the NTSC-U trophy description for the Rosalina & Luma trophy has changed in Smash 3DS. It's now "exactly" the same as that of the Wii U trophy description, so I made the change, only to see it get reverted afterwards. I know what I saw, but because I own an older 3DS model, I'm not able to show a screenshot of the description change. --67.242.7.137 10:30, 14 May 2015 (EDT)

Here's evidence proving my statement. --67.242.7.137 10:46, 14 May 2015 (EDT)
