Talk:Hideo Kojima
This is a well-written article for Wikipedia, but it needs to be grounded in his relationship to the Smash series if we want it to a good SmashWiki article. I think I'm going to finger through this article sometime and delink most of the terms (like "magical realism").
Still, I'm happy that we're getting substantial articles about the game developers. – MaskedMarth (t c) 20:36, February 21, 2007 (GMT)
- It is indeed a good article for Wikipedia; it came directly from there. I deleted it accordingly. --Kirby King 20:52, February 21, 2007 (GMT)
- So I gathered, but I thought it could be tweaked for our purposes. Though it is policy to not c/p Wikipedia articles, right? – MaskedMarth (t c) 00:36, February 22, 2007 (GMT)
That's right.--Dyna 01:01, February 22, 2007 (GMT)
Individual character creators' articles[edit]
This article is pretty good, well-cited, and focuses appropriately on Kojima and his connection to Smash. My question is, which character creators deserve an article? Itoi gets one for being a copyright holder personally, Sakurai directs Smash itself too, and Miyamoto has been credited in various advisory roles throughout the Smash series history. The issue is that it's awkward trying to decide where to draw the line. Should we have a Hideki Kamiya page because of Bayonetta, or a Tetsuya Takahashi page because of Shulk, or a Tetsuya Nomura article because of Cloud? I'd like to hear what people have to say on the issue. Miles (talk) 15:26, 11 June 2016 (EDT)

- It's a good question, and one I'm not really sure how to answer. All I'm sure of is that Ken Sugimori does not need an article. If he has an article on SmashWiki, then every other artist needs one too. John PK SMAAAASH!! 13:36, 12 June 2016 (EDT)
