Talk:Ashley
Is there any proof she's an Assist Trophy? t3h 0r4n93 b00l00n 22:51, 17 January 2014 (EST)
- Sakurai's comment in the Miiverse Post. JamesHeart 23:04, 17 January 2014 (EST)
- Maybe OrangeBooloon is asking if there is any proof that whatever Ashley is, she is an Assist Trophy? Green Mario 23:35, 17 January 2014 (EST)
- It says nothing about her being an assist trophy. t3h 0r4n93 b00l00n 00:22, 18 January 2014 (EST)
Main image?[edit]
Would it be more important for her main image to feature her new design with black eyes and a more yellow-y headband and dress accents which is featured in Smash, or holding her wand which is also featured in Smash? Right now she's got her wand, but red eyes and orange headband and dress accents. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:13, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- Also, would this image be better for origin? I can't remember if she uses her white-haired appearance in Smash. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:19, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- She does use the white hair in Smash, but only mid-spell and it shouldn't be the infobox image. The Game & Wario design did alter her eye color but the official art of her for that game lacks her magic wand, making it ambiguous if it's worth replacing the Smooth Moves art. - ...I think you completely misread what I said, because what you said about the Game & Wario art is basically exactly what I said about it, and I meant the white hair for her origin image. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:26, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- ...my bad. So let me try again: either or both would work for the origin one; and the infobox image is more or less fine as is. Miles (talk) 15:27, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- I'd like to hear more opinions on the main image matter, since they both have a pretty good reason for being used.
- We could move her wand to the gallery and keep her design in the infobox. We've done it before. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:30, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- In case anyone's curious, here's what I'm referring to with different designs. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 15:43, 14 January 2016 (EST)
- I mean it is pretty clear that they're using the G&W design as the basis for her model, like they did for the updated Kat & Ana models. The only question is whether the slight changes since the Smooth Moves art are worth not using official art with the wand. I think the differences are minor enough that keeping the wand is more important, personally, but I'm not that invested either way. Miles (talk) 15:47, 14 January 2016 (EST)

Both options have their merits, but I'd go with G&W art in the infobox and the Smooth Moves artwork in the Origin section. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 15:52, 14 January 2016 (EST)
