Tournament Go 1 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament held on April 6th, 2002 by Matt Deezie in San Jose, California. It was the first tournament in the Tournament Go series. The tournament is often regarded as the event that helped kickstart the western competitive Melee scene.

The tournament was reportedly somewhat unorganized during its first half. Some of the problems being people arriving late, the tournament starting several hours later than intended, a lack of organized assistants, and multiple events occurring at the same time.
