The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Mega Man[1] (ロックマン, Rockman) is a newcomer in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was announced at Nintendo's E3 Direct Conference presentation for the game. He is shown to appear in both the 3DS and the Wii U versions of the game.
Known moveset
Mega Man was shown using moves based on those he copied from defeated Robot Masters in his own series. The abilities shown are:
- Metal Blade, horizontal projectile attack
- Crash Bomber, projectile that sticks to opponents and explodes
- Leaf Shield, produces orbiting leaves that can then be fired
- Hard Knuckle, appears to be a meteor smash
- Flame Sword, a quick aerial attack
- Slash Claw, a quick aerial attack
- Spark Shock, appears to be a throw
- Super Arm, appears to be grab-related
- Flame Blast, not seen in gameplay but shown in the trailer as two pillars of flame
Aside from these named abilities, other moves shown are:
- The weak Mega blaster, which can be fired while running or jumping, and appears to be chargable.
- A footdive attack that slides a reasonable distance.
- A jumping uppercut.
