The two sprites of the capsule differ by having or not having a shadow, which in context is used to have the Capsule look more natural flying around. The shadowless version is used in Smash, but the shadowed version is not exclusively used when Porky is in the Capsule. When he calls it in, the shadowed version sits beside him.
