The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Idea Alert[edit]
Why dont we just merge all Smashers in HOBO and WHOBO in one page except the ones deserving their own page.Drakon64 02:18, 30 December 2011 (EST)
- I was referring to merging this page with Smasher:TGM because they're the same person. More feedback, people. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 02:31, 30 December 2011 (EST)
Support merging this page with Smasher:TGM:
- As I said before, they are the same person. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 02:31, 30 December 2011 (EST)
- No real difference in person between articles. That means these pages should be merged instead of being separate. Characters in smash bros have different pages to suit their needs, but these pages are not like that at all.Drakon64

For Mousehunter's proposal: Support There's absolutely no reason someone should have two separate smasher pages about them.
For Drakon64's proposal: Strong oppose Please read our notability guidelines before commenting on farther smasher pages. And I see absolutely no reason to merge multiple smashers onto the same page. Omega Tyrant 02:47, 30 December 2011 (EST)
- I support Mousehunter's proposal for obvious reasons. DoctorPain99 {ROLLBACKER} 12:01, 30 December 2011 (EST)
Darkon64, why did you brought that up? Mousehunter321, I support, but why can't we delete one of the pages. ..... Happy New Year 16:21, 30 December 2011 (EST)
Name change[edit]
I'm not sure whether we should have his name as "Xyro77" because no one calls him that. He's known as just "Xyro", afaik. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 22:34, 19 February 2012 (EST)
- Thats his smashboards name and AiB name. I usually see the ''77'' anywhere if his name appears. ..... The Solid Snap

- True, that his is SWF and AiB name. But we usually name smashers by what others call them, not their online profiles. For example, ESAM is known as FreESAM on SWF, but we all call him ESAM. Another thing: AiB and SWF names can be changed, so going off what they are called online is shaky at best. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 22:42, 19 February 2012 (EST)
- Thing is, I don't know exactly why some smasher would like to put numbers in their smasher names. ..... The Solid Snap
22:44, 19 February 2012 (EST)
- If you didn't...then why did you move the page? I think that we should move this back to just "Xyro". Honestly, this isn't that important, but I think that "Xyro77" should be a redirect instead of the page name. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 22:47, 19 February 2012 (EST)
- So what your saying is that the smasher name ''Xyro,'' can still be known without the numbers. ..... The Solid Snap

We go with the name the smasher uses in tournaments and is known by, not by the exact name they use on Smashboards, AiB, and other sites. As such, I will be moving this back to the original name. Omega Tyrant 23:15, 19 February 2012 (EST)
