For someone who plays a bottom 3 character, Captain Pretzel has some rather solid results on both a local and regional level such as 5/42 at TSI Melee Weekly #83 and 17/92 at BOPME 19. Coupled with a few solid results at 100+ online tournaments, and I strongly believe this page should stay. Cookies

Support deletion[edit]
Thinking about this now, while he has achieved a couple of decent weekly and small regional placements, I don’t think his placements are strong enough to warrant the strength of his region. He underperformed at the Big House, and I don’t believe he has been ranked in a PR nor has beaten PR players offline. Best results I can think of are beating players like Coffee (who is PRed in Champaign online), but other Melee low tiers have performed better. I think that generally being considered the best active player of a character lends a certain amount of notability on its own. Captain Pretzel has also gotten multiple online wins over pr'ed players, including Hunybear (3rd in Tennessee), Dawson (5th in Philadelphia), Busy Boi (7th in MD/VA), Twotran (10th in Ohio), and Egg$ (9th in Alberta).
