Controversy[edit]
On July 4, 2020, Ori announced that AmiiboKing313 was removed from his position as a tournament organizer and suspended for a year for allegedly directing a 17-year-old player to where they could obtain narcotics around the time of Frostbite 2017.[1] Llany would report on this issue, supported by people that were present in the room at the time. However, no action was taken at the time due to an utter lack of care taken towards the child and the situation at hand. [2]
On July 5th, 2020, amidst a wave of sexual allegations, Ori announced via Twitlonger that AmiiboKing would be be removed from his status as a tournament organizer, due to AmiiboKing downplaying the severity of events, and he would be banned for one year from competing in Smash events in Michigan. On December 21st, 2021 following an appeal process Amiiboking will no longer be banned from Michigan events and can begin taking on work within the scene.
