Mickel (formerly known as Yung Mickel) is a tournament organizer and occasional player/commentator from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. First joining the scene in January 2015 initially as a player, he got his first experience as a TO by assisting Toronto Joe with the Smash On Tap weekly series in Toronto starting in April 2015. He then took charge as the main Smash 4 TO for the Well Played monthly series hosted by EGE, which he ran from September 2015 to August 2016. Following that, he teamed up with Toronto Joe and Even Matchup Gaming and became the main Smash 4 TO at the Smash @ York series from September 2016 to April 2017, as well as the subsequent EMG regionals Revenge Of The 6ix in May and June 2017. Other events he's helped run include LANWAR X, The Come Up 2017, Saints Gaming Live, and NXNE Game Land, while serving as a Senior Volunteer at Frostbite 2017.

Widely regarded as a strong TO by his local peers and neighboring regions, Mickel has made a name for himself with his efficiency, dedication and passion towards the game and its community as a whole. In addition, he is notable for creating the publicly available Southern Ontario Smash 4 Results Database, which he uses not only to showcase past performances of players in the region but also to seed local events.

Recently, Mickel has enjoyed key roles as the head Smash 4 TO at both Get On My Level 2017 and Showdown: Battle Royale 2, with both events being well received by attendees and spectators.

As a player, Mickel has accumulated a few notable wins, including tamim, Taternator, and BreaD, the latter of which he finished off using Fox's side-b attack.
