JSalt is a Smasher from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his competitive career playing Wario in Brawl, but became better known for his performances in Melee, where he played Sheik. He was first known for placing 49th at The Big House 9 with a win on HTwa before achieving greater recognition in the post-Slippi era, especially in 2024 where he defeated SDJ at LA Super Nexus XVI and Bbatts at Riptide 2024.
