Flood is a Canadian SSBM Peach player from Ottawa, Ontario. Formerly ranked 1st on the Ottawa Power Rankings in 2018, Flood's play style is characterized by aggressiveness coupled with strong reads. While maintaining placing consistently at both local and regional events, Diamond's main priority has been video game development, which his competitive Melee experience helps with. Flood swears by Melee for giving him "a huge boost in confidence and discipline", which is something that can be seen through his on-stage presence.
