The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The History Behind Super Smash Bros. series was started in December 2006 with the origins of the characters' movesets in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. CrappyCaptureDevice's popularity on YouTube increased and he continued with his series of videos, alongside some tutorials of how he does them, in time documenting the history of stages, music and other elements as well. Upon the release of ''Brawl'', CCD was asked if he would do the same style of historical analysis with the new ''Smash'' game, to which he answered that he might do so but not immediately. Before CCD began his videos on the history of ''Brawl'', many others on YouTube made similar history videos to explain elements of the game's history. | The History Behind Super Smash Bros. series was started in December 2006 with the origins of the characters' movesets in ''[[Super Smash Bros.
