Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

SmashWiki:Protected image list

There are certain kinds of images on SmashWiki that have no valid reason to be changed. However, it is cumbersome to individually protect each one, and some can easily be missed - which is compounded if later developments mean some do indeed need to be changed. These pages use cascading protection to automatically protect all images displayed.

Possible reasons to protect groups of images in this way include:

  • The images are officially-sourced (e.g. character art), and changing one would leave it out of sync with the rest.
  • The images are extracted from a game, and so cannot be improved upon.
  • The images are widely used for wiki purposes and should be more stiffly protected against vandalism.

If you believe you have a reason to change any image displayed here, or to debate adding or removing a group entirely, post on this page's talk page.
