Overview[edit]
Pikachu waves its arms, one followed by the other, while yelling "Pika, Pika!" Like most taunts, it produces no hitbox, nor does it give any other benefit. However, it is one of only two taunts in the game able to be cancelled by shield, the other being Pichu's, allowing Pikachu players to cancel it two-thirds of a second before the animation ends. In a competitive setting, its two primary uses are 1) as a bait, to lure in players who don't know it can be cancelled, and 2) to tilt the opponent, making them play worse.
