From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
The Panda Global Online Leaderboard was an online ladder created by the team behind PGStats and the Wi-Fi Warrior Rank. Each month, players earned points based on their two highest-scoring online tournaments in a week. Weeks that were cut short only had one tournament considered. Tiers depended solely on the entrants count, after DQs are accounted for; tournaments with higher tiers gave out more points. At the end of the month, the rankings were released and then reset.
Although there are no monetary prizes, players who participate will be awarded badges for their profiles on PGStats.com.
Following the May 2021 rankings, the PGOL became inactive, likely due to the return of offline competitive play.
