MLG DC 2005 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee national tournament held by Major League Gaming in Arlington, Virginia, from January 29th-30th, 2005. It was the first tournament in the MLG 2005 circuit.
Stagelist[edit]
- Starter stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Dream Land, Fountain of Dreams, Yoshi's Story, Pokémon Stadium, Rainbow Cruise
- Banned stages: Temple, Fourside, Flat Zone, Brinstar Depths, Icicle Mountain, Yoshi's Island 64, Big Blue
- Counterpick stages: All 15 other stages
Both sides were also allowed to 'strike' one starter stage and one counterpick stage at the beginning of the set, with all four stages becoming banned for the whole set.
