This hitbox only affects enemies in the Subspace Emissary, allowing the move to damage them, as they can not be put to sleep. However, the sleeping hitbox is not removed, nor is it prevented from hitting enemies, which leads to several abnormalities due to it outprioritising the main hitbox. Against grounded opponents, the sleeping hitbox will take priority if the enemy is within range of it, and deal no damage, thus preventing this hitbox from damaging grounded opponents unless spaced correctly. Furthermore, the third hit can never hit grounded enemies, due to the sleeping hitbox being the same size as this hitbox for the third hit. Airborne opponents can always be hit by this hitbox, as the sleeping hitbox ignores opponents in the air.
