The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

SysOp Reversion[edit]

Large scale reverts do not work using the "&bot=1" advice shown here in the how-to guide. Is this a technical issue or are these policies copied and pasted from somewhere else with no site-specific revisions or consideration for quality control? --RJM Talk 18:10, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

It works, see here. It depends on the url formatting of the contribs page you're looking at:
  1. If the url is http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Randall00 you would add ?bot=1 to the end.
  2. If the url is http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Randall00 you would add &bot=1 to the end.
Hope this helps! --Charitwo 20:38, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, the "?" wasn't listed in the instructions, but I was at least able to view a page with that info. But what exactly is this supposed to do? It still only seems to let you roll back one article at a time, whereas the help file suggests that the reversions are based on user name? Does this tool allow you to roll back an user's contributions entirely? For example, if someone comes along, creates an account and then vandalizes 20 articles...can you not just revert that entire user's contributions back to the previous version? --RJM Talk 21:30, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
You basically have to be using tabbed browsing and have "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" unchecked then just start spamming [rollback] links on the contribs page using one of those syntax, most likely the former. --Charitwo 22:25, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh dear, there's gotta be a better bot than that. Thanks for the help! I'll do some investigating to see if there's anything more efficient kickin' around. --RJM Talk 05:05, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
