Round 41: Mario vs. DK

		Winner!! DK 6 to 3
This rivalry has been going on for almost thirty years. It just hadn't been contested in the Arena yet. That has now changed! Man versus monkey! Sapiens versus simian! Mario, the everyman plumber, versus Donkey Kong, the picture of strength!
Votes for Mario Mario has undergone millions of years of evolution, meanwhile Kongs were eating bananas atop barrels. Mario also defeated DK in the first game he appeared in. Round 42: Link vs. Snake

		Winner!! Snake 7 to 8
These two heroes have enough weaponry to arm dozens of troops. Good thing hammerspace exists, otherwise neither of these one-man armies could take a step. (Well, they may be one-man armies, but they're not just one man themselves - they've each had a couple of alternate selves.) You could call them jacks-of-all-trades, you could call them crazed collectors, or you could just stand back and let them have it out.

Although his grenades take longer to detonate, they can be thrown farther than Link's Bombs. Boomerangs aren't as versatile as missiles, and his Spin Attack his not going to compare to Snake's bomb jump. Snake also has advantages in his tilts in that they come out faster than Link's can. Bottom line is Snake is going to horribly murder Link. (No insult intended to sword-wielding guy in green costume or supporters of said person). Electrodes blow up and feign exploding, giving you a chance to pick them up and throw them. Bob-ombs also screw up your Falcon Punch on Marth in Sudden Death. Round 44: Luigi vs. Jigglypuff

		Winner!! Luigi 9 to 3
It's the two floaty friendlies that just can't get to the character selection screen on time, despite being in all three Smash Bros. games. They were also the only two Smashers to share a universe in the original game. Luigi, the kooky clumsy coward. Jigglypuff, the bubbly bouncing balloon. They hang in the air, they can't run fast, they're always unlockable - and they're now both facing off.

Round 45: Roy vs. Ike

		Winner!! Tie 7 to 7
The two fire-wielding powerhouses from the Fire Emblem series finally face off. Roy, the redheaded young guy with a really thick sword that blows stuff up and sets crap on fire. Ike, the stuffy blue-haired dude who presumably has friends but lacks sympathy. There was only enough room in Brawl for one of them (apparently), so the grudge match is on.
