The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Forum:How for do you go?
Some people go to extreme lengths to do something in a match that is just plain stupid, funny, or awesome and still win the match. Some people take advantage of unexpected resource to do it and still win. So what do you do and what measures do you take to do it? Me? I have an unnatural urge to edgeguard EVERY time any one of my opponents get knocked off. In one case I let my opponent's Ike hit me with his smash attack so that I could edgeguard his Teammate, on the other side of the stage(!). In another case, I let my opponent Spike me so that I could foot stool off another at the bottom then edgehog the third (was using MK) on the other side of the stage(!). So what do you go to the extreme to show and still win. TheLegendTamer (talk) 17:52, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
I start using Falcon Punch a little more often when in desperation. It's risky because of the start-up lag, but it can really turn the tide of a battle. - GalaxiaD (talk) 22:28, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
I just do whatever it takes to get my opponent past the deathline three times. The show begins after the victory, because I'm the best bad trash talker you've ever seen. All in good nature of course, and most certainly R rated. Semicolon (talk) 22:34, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
