| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Well, it's been over a year and a half since this game's been out, and I was thinking about what I expected it to be like character-wise. I know it's been a long time, but this is what I expected it to be:
- Original 12: Never doubted them not being in.
- The 5 who got booted: Roy was the only one I thought had a chance.
- The rest of the melee cast: Same as the original 12, minus the Ice Climbers.
- Lucas: Had no idea who he was
- Ike: Had no idea who he was
- Sonic: Didn't surprise me
- Dedede: Expected him too
- Diddy: Expected him
- Olimar: Didn't expect him.
- Lucario: Kinda expected him
- Toon Link: Kinda expected him, didn't expect that name
- Wolf: Expected him
Now for the ones I expected but didn't join:
- Mii: I really, honestly thought Miis would be in it.
- Other Mario character (Geno or Paper Mario): No idea why, but I was kinda on the Geno bandwagon.
- Plusle and Minun: Expected them to replace the Ice Climbers and Pichu
- Phoenix Wright: lol, not really. Maybe next time, Nick.
