The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Forum:3DS Top Player Articles
I know this sounds crazy but please hear me out. The 3DS version of Smash is considered inferior but its has its own scene. The players in this scene aren't bad at all and I think some recognition would help the scene. There are wifi "majors" that rack in a lot of players and normally give out eshop codes for prize money. (http://challonge.com/Genesis3DS) (http://challonge.com/IgnisSingles/standings) And when top 3DS players do go to Wii U tourneys they do really well. Examples include Zeke getting 49th at FPS2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=224T8PkVVi8) Matsu getting 49th at Midwest Mayhem 9 almost beating Cosmos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs59inRkBXs) and Brownie the Shulk Main ranked 8th in North Carolina. I do believe making wiki pages on notable players and the scene could help inform others that it exists and give credit where its due to these players. I know I would be able to collect information about the scene and make pages but it would help if I had others to aid me in this. Would anyone be down to helipng me with this?
- We generally don't cover wi-fi tournaments unless it has like hundreds of players. Disaster Flare

- And typically, those tournaments have to have quite a few extremely well-known players. Disaster Flare

- Overall tho, if they can abide by SW:NOTABLE, they might be able to pass, but I don't know for sure. I don't follow the competitive scene as well as other people on the wiki do. Disaster Flare
