Oppose: Since Cody (and other characters probably) is from Final Fight, this logo would be best be suited as part of a minor universe, since it's quite that: a small universe that's present in Smash, but not enough to be worth an article or the sorts. Pretending that the universe doesn't exist just because its characters are grouped in with another universe would be a bad decision. Look at how the SNK characters are handled, for example.

tl;dr: This logo should stay since Final Fight is a franchise present in Smash. Crazy456Rhino (talk) 10:53, January 23, 2020 (EST)

The SNK franchises are a different case, though: It's really only the music and the stage cameos that group them as part of the Fatal Fury series. However, when going into the Spirits menu, you'll notice that, despite being a part of Terry's Spirit Board, no SNK spirit that isn't from Fatal Fury has the Fatal Fury series symbol, and when categorizing by "Series Order" in certain menus (such as creating a spirit team), they're grouped with the "Others" spirits instead of the Fatal Fury spirits. Therefore, they are treated as their own series rather than being considered Fatal Fury property (It also helps how the artwork for the spirits are from their origin games rather than something like The King of Fighters, most noticeably with Athena and the Ikari Warriors). The other SNK franchises are essentially treated the same way as the other Namco franchises: heavily connected to the company's main representation while still acknowledged as their own series in certain areas.
Cody, on the other hand, while technically originating from a different series, is still considered Street Fighter property, while Final Fight has yet to receive any direct representation in the Smash series. It's the same reason why Policenauts and Flicky don't have their own sections, yet. To be honest, I don't think it's really necessary to literally list EVERY single piece of I.P. that has some form of representation, whether if it's acknowledged or not (It's the same reason why we don't have sections for the universes only mentioned in the Chronicle).
I do have a solution to this. We could just make a section that focuses on properties that are technically represented in Smash, but their content is categorized in a different series without their own series being acknowledged. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 12:28, January 23, 2020 (EST)
I definitely agree with that bottom idea. It feels wrong to not have series like Final Fight and Flicky at least get a mention on the wiki. I still oppose deleting the image, but your idea is good. Crazy456Rhino (talk) 12:46, January 23, 2020 (EST)
