Counter is Marth's and Ike's down special move. The character strikes a stance and flashes briefly. If hit while flashing, he will counterattack and take no damage. For Marth, the damage dealt is 1.1 times the damage that would be inflicted, and will always do at least 8%. For Ike, the damage dealt is 1.2 times, and will always do at least 10%.
