The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Making smasher articles
It's appreciated that you're trying to improve the smasher side of the wiki, but what I'm not liking is your habit of making an article, but not including any results. We recently made some changes to where now whenever a smasher article doesn't meet our standards, we delete it immediately due to zero effort, regardless of whether they're notable or not. The only reason I haven't deleted the ones you've made is because they still include a decent amount of information regardless. With that being said, from now on, before making a smasher article, please make sure you include all verifiable results you can find. Forcing other people to do it for you can only be described as lazy, and we're trying to heavily discourage that due to how much we need to get done as is. Thank you for your time and please try to keep this in mind in the future. Disaster Flare (talk) 18:05, 2 March 2017 (EST)

Hi Disaster Flare,
Sorry about that. Right now I'm just trying to note down our PR'd members so that if we ever go out of state or if people come here they can easily find the tags of our top players and see their faces. I understand why you'd delete pages that have no information regarding verifiable tournament results. I will take that in mind for next time and not create a page without further information in that regard. Thank you for the notice.
