KeroKeroppi is a strong Smash 64 player from New York who is considered one of the top players in North America.

A strong Pikachu main known for his intelligent and safe playstyle, he also possesses very strong Captain Falcon and Kirby secondaries for certain matchups. From the day he joined the competitive 64 scene, he made his goal clear to become the best player in the world, and in under three years was already considered as a top five player in the United States.

He is a member of the New York-based crew Koroshiyo along with his brother Stranded.

KeroKeroppi currently holds positive records against every player in the United States that he's played against, with the exception of tacos (1-4).

On January 4th, 2017, KeroKeroppi announced his retirement from Smash 64 as he will be making a transition to Melee after GENESIS 4, [1] with Fox as his main character.[2]

Tournament history

He placed 17th in singles at Apex 2014, losing to JaimeHR and the British Pikachu player Jam. He then placed 2nd at Zenith 2014, only losing to SuPeRbOoMfAn.

He attended Apex 2015, where he defeated Star King 2-1 and The Z 2-1 before being sent to losers by SuPeRbOoMfAn 0-2. He entered Top 8 and defeated Fireblaster 2-0, then ultimately landed at 5th place after losing to Mariguas 0-2.

He recently participated in Smash of Ages 2015 where he got 5th as well. After a bye, he lost unexpectedly to Bark Sanchez who was seeded 13th 1-2. He then won vs. the local California players Janitor, Wookie, Near, and Hero Pie before losing to JaimeHR in a close 2-3 set.

He recently continued to solidify his status by placing 2nd at Super Smash Con 2015 winning vs. fellow top players LD, Wizzrobe, and tacos. His only losses were to SuPeRbOoMfAn.

At GENESIS 3, he defeated The Z 2-1 before losing to Mariguas 2-0, then defeated Wizzrobe 3-1 in losers' top 8 before falling to wangera 3-0, ending his run at 5th place.

At Get On My Level 2016, Kero came back from a set defecit against Wizzrobe after being down 0-2, winning the set 3-2 to face SuPeRbOoMfAn in Winners' Finals, where he lost 3-1. He then faced The Z in Losers' Finals, where he lost 3-0 to finish 3rd place at the largest Canadian Smash 64 tournament.

At Super Smash Con 2016, Kero defeated PewPewU 2-1 in pools then Kort 2-0 in top 64 winners' bracket. He eventually lost to Mariguas 2-0, then unexpectedly to the Japanese player Kurabba 3-2 to end his run at 9th place. He also placed 9th in the doubles bracket, teaming with Stranded.
