Epita Smash Arena 2 was a European national tournament held by SSBUP and Cycom during February 23rd-24th in Villejuif, France. It is the sixth-largest European Melee tournament of all time, behind Heir 3's 472 entrants, B.E.A.S.T 6's 410 entrants, B.E.A.S.T 5's 375 entrants, Heir II the Throne's 369 entrants, and DreamHack Winter 2015's 354 entrants, and held the record for being the largest European Melee tournament for nearly seven years before being surpassed by B.E.A.S.T 5; it is still, however, the largest French tournament.
