Masterpieces

Super Smash Bros. Brawl disc will include in a menu of the game called Masterpieces free trial versions of classic Nintendo titles that can be played on the Virtual Console offline.

Games included are:

• Super Mario Bros. (NES)
• Ice Climber (NES)
• The Legend of Zelda (NES)
• Kid Icarus (NES)
• Kirby's Adventure (NES)
• Super Metroid(SNES)
• Star Fox 64 (N64)
• Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo* (SNES)
• Earthbound/Mother 2* (SNES)

as well as some others yet to be revealed. The full versions of all these games can be bought individually for Virtual Console at any time, but these Masterpieces are shortened demo versions that can be played any time and introduce the gameplay roots of many characters to Smash players.
