Zero Suit Samus using her Final Smash

Power Suit Samus (sometimes known as Crystal Flash) is Zero Suit Samus' Final Smash. She radiates energy, dragging in items and enemies towards her while damaging anyone close enough, then somehow regains her suit. Enemies are given 25-26% damage each in the spin and an extra 10% right when she regains her suit. Speculation suggests that it is similar to the "Crystal Flash" technique from Super Metroid. It is recommended to wait until the Final Smash is over, and then when Samus gets her ability to move, strike her before she can dodge an incoming attack.

Strengths

It has a very high knockback. It can also be used on multiple enemies if they're in the same area.

Weaknesses

The attack has many weaknesses. Its first weakness is its short range. Zero Suit Samus needs to be close to the person she wants to use it on, the closer the better. Second is its conditional nature. Victims must have upwards of 65% damage in order for it to KO them. Third is its ability to escape from it. The attack won't suck people in who are shielded or are performing a dashing shield.

Ways of Negating Weaknesses

To prevent people from Dashing shielding, it may be a good idea to use Zero Suit Samus' Down smash, the stunner, first then activate Crystal Flash. And to get people in killing range, Zero Suit Samus' Up smash works well too.

Final Thoughts

It is a highly flawed Smash Move but when used correctly can be a decent KO move.

Trophy Info

Zero Suit Samus's Final Smash. Samus loses her Power Suit when she fires the Zero Laser, but she can restore it--that is, she can return from her Zero Suit form to her familiar armored form. That being said, Zero Suit Samus is very quick with great reach, so there are tactical reasons to fight as is. If that's your preference, don't pick up any Smash Balls.
