Smash Summit 2 is an ongoing national Super Smash Bros. Melee invitational tournament held in Los Angeles, California from April 21st-24th, 2016 by Beyond the Summit, an eSports company known for their Dota 2 coverage. Singles, doubles and side events for Melee can be expected to be hosted. The tournament will be held at the Summit gaming house, a private residence, and so was not open to the general public.

These 10 players were invited by Beyond The Summit.
- Leffen was not able to attend and was replaced by Silent Wolf.
6 more players were chosen by the community. They had to be Top 100 on the 2015 SSBMRank or have placed Top 32 at either The Big House 5 or GENESIS 3.
