Plagerism
This article is exactly copied-and-pasted from the same article on SmashWiki. [1]. Isn't that copyright issues since they don't share the same license? 169.139.180.100 15:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I'll change it so that's not identifiable. I don't think there's any copyright issue though. If I am wrong however please show me what license Smash Wiki uses because I was unable to find it. Thanks. If you do find other examples of plagiarism, we would appreciate reporting it or better yet fixing it. I admit I've copied and pasted like this in the past for the sake of introducing new articles but these were mistakes and I apologize. Bonko24 21:34, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Well, in SmashWiki, we're not exactly allowed copy anything from Wikia. SmashWiki runs through the Smash Boards. So I assumed that the same rules apply here from taking information from other sources. Glad I could help out though. 97.101.62.215 21:46, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wikia site (such as this one), and Wikipedia sites can inter-copy, since they were both created by the same person (Jim Whales), or the Wikimedia Foundation. He says so in his wikipedia userpage. I think its (jimbowales) or something...but I doubt that Smash Wiki and Wikia can inter-copy since they are owned by different companies.
- That is exactly correct. BTW, I'm probably beating up a dead horse, but why you guys felt the need to copy the external links exactly as they were in SmashWiki? Going as far as copying someone's spelling and grammar errors from a user that I know, is just sad. Sorry if I seem upset, but plagerising is just bad Internet etiquette. 97.101.58.211 03:33, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
