Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Hey
Just so you know, you're not allowed to edit the status without an edit summary. Ganonmew, The Festive Evil Clone 13:11, 26 December 2015 (EST)
RFR
You aren't supposed to comment on Requests for Rollback unless Toomai opens it for discussion. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 13:38, 13 January 2016 (EST)
- Oh, sorry. How can I tell if it is open? Should my comment stay? -- Ethan (Discussion) 14:01, 13 January 2016 (EST)
- "No other users may comment unless the RfR has been opened for discussion." Yeah, I should have saw that. -- Ethan (Discussion) 14:03, 13 January 2016 (EST)

Technically re-removing the first trivia point was in violation of this ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 22:35, 17 January 2016 (EST)
- Okay, sorry for violating that rule. Would have been fine to normally edit it instead of reverting it? -- Ethan (Discussion) 22:50, 17 January 2016 (EST)
- No, an appropriate action would have been to bring it to the talk page. It may be a good idea for you to have a good look through our policies and guidelines. Serpent King 23:07, 17 January 2016 (EST)
- Yeah, I need to know the rules so this won't keep happening. Thanks! -- Ethan (Discussion) 23:15, 17 January 2016 (EST)

"Colour"
This is an instance of non-American English and is not incorrect; see SmashWiki:Manual of Style#Writing style. Miles (talk) 14:27, 22 January 2016 (EST)
- I see. Thanks. -- Ethan (Discussion) 15:33, 22 January 2016 (EST)

I wouldn't call him a vandal yet. His edit was unnecessary, but not inappropriate. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 14:27, 23 January 2016 (EST)

Filenames
They can have spaces :P ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 17:18, 24 January 2016 (EST)
- Oh, I don't think I've really seen any files with them. I don't think I've heard of them prohibited either. -- Ethan(Discussion) 17:33, 24 January 2016 (EST)
- I don't think it matters really. Usually, I think it's more stylish to name files without spaces, though, but that's just me. I usually use hyphens. Serpent King 17:36, 24 January 2016 (EST)
- You could also use underscores (_) but there's no real reason to when spaces work :P ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 17:38, 24 January 2016 (EST)
- Yeah, I was talking about underscores when I said "For some reason it made it [the underscore] into a space". -- Ethan(Discussion) 20:31, 24 January 2016 (EST)
Congrats
On your rollback. :D Disaster Flare (talk) 16:57, 5 February 2016 (EST)

Regarding this
Sakurai actually did confirm it's the last update. However, it's still bad trivia nonetheless. Aidan, the Lovely Dragon Warrior 14:26, 12 February 2016 (EST)

Buffs/nerfs
I'd be better if we indeed put how the changes to shield mechanics affect fighters. After all, a change is a change, regardless of whether it was a direct one or not. -- BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 16:55, 1 March 2016 (EST)
- I removed it because we never do that and I think that's what the description is for. Does it really need a bullet to signify about a nerf/buff? -- Ethan(Discussion) 17:45, 1 March 2016 (EST)
- Well, many characters in their transitions got changed, either from Melee to Brawl or Brawl to SSB4. And their changes are listed in their respective sections: for example, the removal of meteor cancelling is listed as a benefit to Dorf since he can meteor easily now, while the removal of hitstun cancelling is listed as a hindrance to D3 since he is now the easiest character to combo in the game. -- BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 18:06, 1 March 2016 (EST)
- But, why do we even need it in any if we have a block of text for explaining how they are changed? -- Ethan(Discussion) 19:00, 1 March 2016 (EST)
- We can compress it then. -- BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 19:01, 1 March 2016 (EST)
- I wasn't sure what to call the description so I just called it a block of text. I think it (the description) is for explaining while buff/nerf/change templates are for facts. -- Ethan(Discussion) 19:03, 1 March 2016 (EST)

- I don't care about the amount of text. I'm just saying what it's for. -- Ethan(Discussion) 19:06, 1 March 2016 (EST)
