Talk:Up smash
Damage wise, isn't Ganondorf's Up Smash the most damaging of Up Smashes? If it's true, this should be noted. --Janitor 23:48, November 20, 2007 (EST)

Please stop editing pages you know nothing about. Pikachu's up-smash has the farthest knock back in the game, not Fox's. --Janitor 12:59, November 25, 2007 (EST)
ZINNAMON. Stop editing pages you don't understand. I'm tired on reverting all your edits. I'm glad Randall got here before i did. --– Janitor ( Talk • Contribs) 18:15, December 3, 2007 (EST)
Why?
Why is Mr. Game & Watch's Up smash a notable one? I simply can't understand... 189.153.215.229 03:45, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Fast moves with good priority tend to deal low damage and knockback, and moves that deal quite a lot of damage and knockback tend to be slower and have low priority, but Mr. Game & Watch's Up smash is a fast move with good priority which deals quite a lot of damage and knockback, making it a good move, therefore notable. - But his up smash is slow, relatively. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.14.217.129 (talk • contribs)
Shrinking the notable Up Smashes list
Some of them, like Olimar's, Peach's, and arguably Mr. Game & Watch's, aren't notable IMO, despite their power. I believe we should only list the absolute strongest, highest reaching, etc. up smashes in each game (think Ganondorf in Melee), up smashes with unique properties (i.e. Snake), and notorious up smashes (which really mostly applies to Fox). - Up-smashes that grant full invincibility are notable enough in my book. While this most likely is biased, I believe G&W's up smash in Sm4sh is undoubtedly one of the best for its speed, power, and spammability at KO %'s (Like Mario, especially considering the "Ally special").
