Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Reflect Barrier (反射盤, Reflection Panel) is Palutena's side special move.

Overview

When activating this move, Palutena raises her shield forward, summoning in front of her a rectangular wall which reflects projectiles. This barrier moves slowly away from her, pushing any opponents who make contact and vanishing shortly after. Palutena's shield damages close enemies for 5%. While the barrier is wide and tall, it is far from flawless: If aimed right, small and guided projectiles can glance off the top of the wall and hit Palutena, not to mention its inability to protect her back. Additionally, if the barrier reflects too much damage (i.e. multiple Green Shells), it will break. Unlike other reflectors, the move can be used immediately after it shatters.

Customization

Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the known variations:

1. Reflect Barrier 2. Angelic Missile 3. Super Speed

Angelic Missile
Super Speed
"Casts a reflective wall that moves forward for a short distance. Can be used to push rivals." "Hurtle forth and collide with enemies to send them flying." "Dash headfirst into opponents. You can even jump and attack while dashing."

Origin

Reflect Barrier in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Reflect Barrier is an offensive-typed power that Pit or a fighter can wield in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Using this power conjures a shield that deflects projectiles from opponents for a limited time. Unlike the barrier's incarnation in Smash 4, its incarnation in Uprising is stationary, and simply blocks the path. The barrier's physical appearance and its ability to deflect projectiles in Uprising, however, carry over to Smash 4.
