Meowth
Meowth (ニャース, Nyāsu, Nyarth in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise. is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.
Character description
Meowth is one of the original 151 Pokémon that appeared in Pokémon Red & Blue. A player can find a Meowth in the wild in various grass areas. In the advance generation of Pokémon games, Mewoth gained the Pick Up ability which allows Meowth to pick up random items while the trainer is traveling. Meowth most notable role is in Pokémon anime. Meowth appeared as one of the grunts on Team Rocket. Mewoth is a unique Pokémon as he can talk the human language. Meowth likes to scheme with Team Rocket and causes havoc on Ash and his friends. Meowth also envys the attention that a Persian recieves from his boss Giovanni. Meowth's signature move is Pay Day.
In Super Smash Bros.
As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Mewoth makes an appearance as a Pokémon that appears out of a Poké Ball in Super Smash Bros. Meowth will use Pay Day as his attack. Meowth will jump in the air, scattering coins in all directions. Any character caught in the radius of this attack will take damage. The attack radius of Payday is short so it can be easy to avoid. Meowth's attack does not harm the summoner.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee
As a trophy
Meowth returns in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but not as a Poké Ball Pokémon; instead, he has been relegated to a role as a trophy. This trophy is an unlockable that must be earned; you receive it only after getting the "Smash Blue" trophies (from the All-Star single-player mode) for all 25 playable characters. Its trophy description is as follows:

As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Meowth reappears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a Poké Ball Pokémon again, with roughly the same effect as he did in Super Smash Bros. This time, Meowth throws a barrage of coins at the opponent slowly instead of scattering coins in all directions.
